FastSoft Names Two Key Executive Team Members
SoCal Internet Acceleration Company adds VP Business Development and Product Management; VP Worldwide Sales and Customer Service
MONROVIA, CA– February 12, 2008—FastSoft Inc. (fastsoft.com), a Southern California company that enables the highest quality video distribution over the Internet, today announced that Diego Dugatkin, Ph.D., has joined as VP of Business Development and Product Management, and Hitendra “Sonny” Soni has joined as VP of Worldwide Sales and Customer Service.
Dugatkin was previously Director of Partner Programs at Ixia (NASDAQ:XXIA), where he drove the development, management and execution of the company’s worldwide partnership program. Diego was previously Ixia’s Principal Technologist and managed industry alliances, technology organizations and standards, and developed several patents on modeling and generation of network traffic, He has also held doctoral researcher and engineering positions at Caltech, Schlumberger, and Laser Lab, FIUBA (Buenos Aires). Dugatkin holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering and a diploma in engineering management from California Institute of Technology.
Soni brings more than 20 years of experience in selling networking equipment to enterprise and service provider customers worldwide. Sonny has built and managed direct and indirect (OEM and reseller) sales and customer service organizations for successful startups generating from startup to $300M in revenue. Soni was previously Vice President of Sales, BD and Customer Services at Clearmesh Networks and Accelerated Networks. Prior to that Soni held position of Director of BD and Channel Sales at Xylan (Alcatel) and Connexsys.
