This is a side-by-side demonstration of FastSoft video acceleration over the Web. Choose the desired levels of delay and loss and the video will play automatically. You may also move your cursor over the video and use the video playback controls. Note that latency effects time to start playing while loss effects video choppiness.

This demo shows side-by-side comparisons of a 1080p YouTube video set to start in the middle (for more dramatic visuals) with and without FastSoft Video Acceleration. These are actual video captures. We used WAN emulation software to inject 80ms, 160ms, and 250ms delay and 1%, 0.1%, and 2% packet loss into the network. Content was served directly from YouTube. End-user bandwidth was 45Mbps, and the browser used was Google Chrome 5.0.375.70 with Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64. The resulting video was captured using SnagIt software.
