This is a side-by-side demonstration of FastSoft dynamic Web acceleration. Choose the delay, loss, and test type, and the video will play automatically. You may also move your cursor over the video and use the video playback controls.
This demo shows videos of side-by-side comparisons of the FastSoft website downloading with and without FastSoft Origin Content Acceleration. These are actual video captures. We placed our Web server behind WAN emulation software that injected 80ms and 160ms delay and 1% and 0.1% packet loss into the network. Content was served from a 1Gbps bandwidth data center circuit, and end-user bandwidth was 45Mbps.
The site was viewed using the which loads faster tool, which places two Web sites side-by-side in a browser and races the page downloads. (This tool was developed by a FastSoft engineer and is available for public use.) The resulting comparison was captured using SnagIt. The browser used was Google Chrome 5.0.375.70.
